CHF Announces Hospice House Return

On Saturday, the Community Health Foundation marked its 50th year of service at the 20th Annual Black Cat’s Golden Gala with two landmark announcements:

  • the reopening of the Hospice House coming in 2026!

  • and the recognition of six Outstanding Community Health Award winners (check out page 2)!

The CHF announced the approval of a new three-party Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) joint venture with Stillwater Hospice and Campbell County Health to develop innovative hospice care solutions in Northeast Wyoming.

Central to this agreement is the long-awaited reopening of the Hospice House, ensuring local families once again have access to the dignity and specialized support inpatient hospice provides.

“Because of you, we’ve provided over $4 million in aid to more than 100,000 people across northeast Wyoming. You’ve helped us fight cancer, support mental health, provide scholarships, make life more rewarding and fun for seniors at The Legacy, help seniors live safe and independently, and give patients and families a place to stay when treatment takes them far from home,” said Nachelle McGrath, CHF Executive Director. “Tonight, we stand here committed to rebuilding, to restoring, and to ensuring that every neighbor in need has access to care, compassion, and dignity with hospice.”
